OMG! I just found out that they are making a HD version of Skyward Sword! I don't think I have told you but I'm a huge Zelda Fan Boy, I have played 12 of them. ngl this is my favorite Zelda game so I am exited! Coincidentally a few hours ago i made a tier list of all the dungeons in that game so I am going to show it to you and explain my reason for putting the dungeons where I put them.
Best: For the best dungeon I put The Ancient cistern. I enjoy the vibe, the music and the decoration fit very well with the themes of the dungeon. The contrast between the top and bottom floors is cool. I litsen to the music on the top floor every night so it is good.
Cool: Here I put both of the fire dungeons. the music matches so well with the theme of the dungeons. but they don't give as good of a vibe of the ancient cistern. and also when you are burrowed underground in the fire sanctuary those centipede monsters get very annoying. For the earth temple the Chinese architecture and the design of level are very cool but the dungeon is over very fast, It feels like the shortest dungeon in the game.
Ok I Guess: So here is the Sky Keep. It's actually a cool dungeon but I will explain why its in the Ok I Guess section in a second. So in this dungeon you can move around the rooms to make your own layout and I think that is a cool idea. but this is the only dungeon that does not have a boss at the end. Instead there is a mini boss that gives you a key to use in the ancient cistern room. Speaking of the ancient cistern room its very repetitive, all you do is fight enemies. If I were to design the ancient cistern room I would add some water enemies because it's the only water dungeon in the game and there is no water in any of the rooms in sky keep. and this is the last dungeon, it's a mix of themes they had already made and I want to experience something new in every dungeon so that's why it's ranked low.
Meh: So this section has the Sandship and the Skyview Temple, I am going to talk about the Skyview temple first as it's the first dungeon. So this is the first dungeon so it does not have very much interesting puzzles. There are really only 2 puzzles in this game. The first one is about raising the water level in a room, This has been a puzzle in other dungeons in other Zelda games so not very original. The next puzzle is about making different numbers of eyes dizzy, This is a original puzzle so that is good. This dungeon is also linear, I sometimes like linear dungeons in Zelda games like the Temple of time in Twilight Princess & Divine Beast Vah Naboris in Breath Of The Wild but this one did not have the things that made those dungeons special to me. Now on to the Sandship. To be real I like the puzzles, I enjoy the puzzles where you use the ability to change between the past and the present. But the design of the dungeon made it feel like there were only 2 goals, Get the Bow & Defeat the boss. To be real it feels like you are on a actual ship so that is cool.
Trash: Ok so for trash I put the Lanayru Mining Facility, I really don't like this dungeon. first I'm going to talk about the vibe. The music gives me a huge headache and the design does not match the music at all. Also this is the only dungeon to not have a mini boss so they are missing out on that. And all of the enemies in the dungeon get annoying fast. Also the theme does not even match the name of the dungeon. It is in the Lanayru province but apart from the minecarts & the conveyor belt I don't see how it is a mining facility.
If my opinions don't match yours on the game I am sorry. Also if you read all of that you are cool
